Nigeria’s Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, engaged with the media in Chengdu, China, ahead of the prestigious Golden Panda Awards 2025.
Speaking in the city famously known as the home of the giant pandas, Musawa underscored the power of culture as a bridge to unite nations, highlighting Nigeria’s commitment under the Renewed Hope Agenda to harness creativity as a driver of growth, innovation, and global connection.
She described the media engagement as an opportunity to share Nigeria’s story, strengthen cultural ties with China, and reinforce Nigeria’s place on the global cultural and creative stage.
The Minister emphasized that cultural diplomacy and creative economy development remain at the core of Nigeria’s strategy to position itself as a key player in the global creative landscape.
