Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, UAE Ambassador Strengthen Lagos–UAE Ties
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed Lagos State’s commitment to expanding international partnerships as he received H.E. Salem Saeed Musa AlShamsi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Nigeria, on a courtesy visit at Lagos House, Marina.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Lagos and the UAE, with particular emphasis on trade, investment, and collaborative opportunities that will bring tangible benefits to Lagosians.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the discussions as fruitful and forward-looking, noting that Lagos is open to deepening ties that foster economic growth, innovation, and global cooperation.
The UAE Ambassador also expressed his country’s readiness to work with Lagos State in exploring areas of mutual interest, particularly in commerce, infrastructure, and tourism.
