Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has announced that a total of ₦20,456,188,924.93 has so far been realised under the Oluremi @65 Education Fund.

The fund, launched in celebration of her 65th birthday, is dedicated to supporting education initiatives across the country, with the first major focus being the completion of the long-abandoned National Library Headquarters project in Abuja.

Mrs. Tinubu expressed gratitude to all partners, donors, and well-wishers who contributed to the milestone, noting that the gesture reflects a collective commitment to strengthening education and preserving knowledge for future generations.

“The National Library is not just a building; it is a beacon of learning and a treasure for our nation. Its completion will ensure that Nigeria secures a lasting legacy of knowledge and opportunity,” she said.

The First Lady added that the success of the fund demonstrates how public-private collaboration can accelerate the delivery of critical national projects and inspire hope for the future of Nigeria’s education sector.
